First Class Concepts Watches Olympic Football Draw

April 24, 2012 - PRLog -- Today Gary Lineker hosted the draw of the groups for the London 2012 football competition. First Class Concepts were excited to see that both teams face a challenging competition at some spectacular venues. The men’s team are in a group with Uruguay, Senegal and United Arab Emirates. Uruguay, who are ranked at number 3 in the FIFA world rankings, look set to be their toughest test in the group stages of the competition. Stuart Pearce, who will be managing the team said that though Uruguay are the obvious contenders, he wouldn't rule anyone out.

The women’s team will open the whole Olympic games at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium on the 25th of July, two days before the opening ceremony when they play against New Zealand. The rest of their group includes Brazil and Cameroon. The Managing Director of First Class Concepts believes that the GB women have the tougher draw. “Both the men's and women's Brazilian teams are absolutely excellent and regularly reach the final stages of the World Cup. Our ladies team has been on great form recently but they will have to be top-notch to ensure that they make it through to the knockout stages. It's set to be a show-down at Wembley Stadium”

First Class Concepts recently reported that Scotland is set to benefit from London 2012 Games as some of the matches are to be played in Glasgow at Hampden Park. The women’s quarter-final is set to be played at the ground on the 3rd of August and before that there will be 3 men’s and 4 women’s matches. “This is a great opportunity for Scotland to get directly involved in the games. We’ll be excited to see who is going to be playing as more details come out.”
