-- Embien Technologies announces launch of its eStorm series of computing devices. These devices are comprehensive COTS solutions intended for a wide range of embedded applications. eStorm devices will be offered in different processing capabilities and form factors to address requirements of different segments of the industry.
Launching today is the first of the eStorm devices named "eStorm-C1". This System on Module is powered by NXP Semiconductor's LPC1769 microcontrollers. The 120MHz ARM Cortex-M3 core offers unparalleled performance for the given cost and power. The eStorm-C1 SoM comes in a small and industry standard "Nano-ITX" form factor. With the integrated 512KB Flash and 64KB RAM available for processing, SD Card is supported for extended data storage and communications. The device offers multiple connectivity options for application in industrial automation segment. The low power requirement enables its usage for remote data acquisition and handheld terminals. The scalable expansion connector can support add-on cards for feature additions.
Full function software modules are available for the customers reducing the final product’s deployment time.
