RateTea Lists Phone Numbers Of Tea Companies And Brands Of Tea (Customer Service or Orders / Sales)

March 6, 2012 - PRLog -- RateTea, an online community and interactive website where anyone can rate and review teas, recently redesigned their pages on individual brands of tea.

As a continued tweak to this new set of pages, RateTea has added a listing of phone numbers for each tea company, for companies with a presence in the US or Canada, who publicly list a phone number.

The main rationale behind the decision of RateTea to add listings of phone numbers is to provide a valuable resource for users of the site, as well as people on the internet at large.  Tea companies do not have any standard way of listing their phone numbers on their websites, and while some companies clearly list the number in the site header, many companies do not.

As the format on RateTea is standardized, and the phone number for each brand is listed prominently towards the upper-left corner of the page, under the brand's logo, in many cases, RateTea now provides an easier-to-access location to look up tea company phone numbers than the company websites themselves.

Which numbers are listed?

Many tea companies, especially larger ones, have numerous phone numbers for different purposes.  RateTea, being primarily an informational website, chose to preferentially list customer service phone numbers or other informational contact numbers, when these numbers were distinguished from numbers for orders or sales.  When a company only listed a single number, for orders and sales, RateTea listed this number.  RateTea does not list private business phone numbers or wholesale-only numbers, in the cases of numbers that are not openly publicized on a company's website.
