"U.S. Higher Education’s Role in Educating Tomorrow’s Global Leaders"

Feb. 22, 2012 - PRLog -- Peggy Blumenthal, Senior Counselor to the President of the Institute of International Education, will speak at the World Affairs Forum on March 14 at UCONN/Stamford. The program will begin at 5:45 P.M., with networking and refreshments, followed by the presentation at 6:15 P.M.

The Institute of International Education is a private non-profit organization that is a world leader in academic exchange and the development of globally-competent professionals and future leaders.  Peggy Blumenthal has been with IIE for 25 years and served as COO from 2005 to 2011.  Before joining IIE, she focused on the development of US-China Exchanges at the National Committee on US-China Relations and the Asia Society’s China Council.  Ms. Blumenthal holds a BA from Harvard University in Modern Chinese History and an MA in American Studies from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
