Actor Antonio Srado – Busy Is Not So Busy – What’s on His Plate?

New York, New York – January 8th, 2012 – Actor Antonio “Tony” Srado explains how he incorporates healthy eating into his busy daily schedule.

Jan. 8, 2012 - PRLog -- The 20 year old actor, health and fitness professional, nutritionist, and humanitarian explains that a busy schedule is not an excuse for poor eating.

“I work 8-16 hours a day as a health and fitness professional. I live in New York, and as many should know, it is the city that never sleeps. As a health and fitness professional, I must practice what I preach to my clients and that is to maintain a healthy lifestyle through exercising and proper dieting.”

Antonio is a fitness trainer at Crunch Fitness – Kips Bay, NYC. His specialties are nutrition, military fitness, fat-loss, and muscle gain. Continuing his education, Antonio plans to branch into pre/post-natal exercising, also corrective senior exercising.

“I view being a health and fitness professional as being a doctor in preventative medicine. We are the preventers of many health issue. Some to include are health issues like chronic diseases, obesity, hypertension, and coronary heart disease. Today, there are about 34 percent of our U.S. population who are obese. That is one-third, and I believe that is truly obnoxious!”

“I’ve lost count as to how many individuals I’ve assessed telling me that they have an extremely busy schedule. When I ask explain what’s busy, the individual is lost in his or her own confusion. I do understand that some individuals work an excessive amount of hours each week. I do understand that work can make them exhausted. But think about it: today healthcare cost are on a rise. Why wait until it’s too late to begin preventing the over-hauling health issues? With exercise and proper dieting, these issues can be address very easily. “

Antonio explains ways in which a busy scheduled individual can plan their nutritional diet.

“So what if you have a busy schedule? I do too. I get very cut-throat with my clients. Having a busy schedule shouldn’t be an excuse for lack of exercise or proper dieting. Also, I just want to mention that there are no diet or pills that will magically remove excess weight. It takes time and hard work to access results.”

Here are some of Antonio’s suggestions to incorporating a proper diet into your busy schedule:

Suggestion #1. “Prepare food 24-48 hours before. (I suggest preparing your next day’s meal as soon as you get home that work night.”)

Suggestion #2.  ”Fast on the Stove: There are many foods that you can prepare in a matter of a few minutes. Some to include are whole grain foods like Whole-wheat Penne and Rotini. Poultry foods like boiled chicken breast (put to defrost early in the morning to be prepared by the time to get back home.) You can prepare white fish like Talapia, in 10 minutes (also defrost early in the morning) by placing on a frying pan with non-stick extra-virgin olive oil cooking spray. You can boil broccoli as well.”

Suggestion #3. “Tupperware on the Go: Do not invest on a cheap tupperware product. The last thing a Wall-Street business consultant might want is his or her documents covered with food remnants all because he or she decided to choose a quick pick. Invest on a good quality tupperware and that will be your food storage.”

Suggestion #4. “Keep all necessary food refrigerated, and all other foods at room temperature.”

Suggestion #5. “Here is where I will get very cut-throat. Stop wasting your hard-earned money in fast-food! Five bucks or more on a meal, 3-4 meals in a day. That is roughly 20 dollars a day, 100 dollars in a 5-day work week, 400 dollars in a 4 week work month and 5,200 dollars in a 52-week work year. That is not to include alcoholic beverages every weekend, and social gathering dinners you pick the tab up on. This money can be used for more important causes, perhaps gym club memberships and personal training sessions. Point of the matter is, invest in your health and not in your death.”
