Anthony Biller Of Coats And Bennett, PLLC, Serves As Professor At Campbell Law School

Jan. 5, 2012 - PRLog -- CARY, N.C. – Coats and Bennett, PLLC (http://www.coatsandbennett.com), an intellectual property law firm, has announced that Anthony Biller, an attorney with the firm, has instructed his first semester as an adjunct professor teaching intellectual property rights litigation at the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University. His class marked the first time the course was offered by the school, as well as one of the first comprehensive intellectual property litigation courses taught nationwide. As this course has no case books or curriculum at present, Biller is working with his partners at Coats and Bennett to develop IPR Litigation case book that can be used to supplement instruction. He began teaching intellectual property litigation at Campbell Law in downtown Raleigh, N.C., in August 2011. Biller received his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, 14 years ago from the university, where he also served as the managing editor for the Campbell Law Review while he was a student.

At Coats and Bennett, Biller counsels clients in patent, trademark, copyright and trade secret litigation in courts throughout the United States. He served as a U.S. District Court judicial clerk for the late Honorable William L. Osteen, Sr., in the Middle District of North Carolina. Biller earned his undergraduate degree from Purdue University, where he was a Distinguished Military Graduate.  He is admitted to the practice of law in and appears before the courts of the State of North Carolina, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of North Carolina, the U.S. Court of Claims, and before the Federal Courts of Appeal for the Federal, Fourth, Sixth, and Eleventh Circuits and the U.S. Supreme Court. Biller has served as an attorney with Coats and Bennett since September 2000.
