Laurence H. Stone Attends Attachment Course at Sterngold Dental

Dec. 6, 2011 - PRLog -- Dr. Larry Stone, founder of Laurence H. Stone, DDS, a cosmetic and general dentistry practice located in Doylestown township, attended a three day, hands-on Attachment Course at the Sterngold Dental manufacturing facility in Attleboro, Massachusetts. Held from November 10-12, the intensive 3-day program was designed to provide attendees with the skill set to design, prescribe and fabricate attachment-retained prostheses used in partial dentures, overdentures, implants, and segmented bridgework.

Lecture and demonstrations comprised less than half the course with the balance consisting of actual benchwork where the attending dentists designed and fabricated attachment cases.  “Attachments is a rapidly growing area of dentistry,” stated Dr. Stone.  “Particularly with the increasing interest in and demand for implants. Having the opportunity to improve my knowledge and skill set in this important area was extremely worthwhile and allows me to better serve my patients.”
