Masci & Hale Dentists, Montel Williams, Providing Services to Our Troops

Nov. 11, 2011 - PRLog -- Dr. Tim Hale is proud to announce the kick-off of the Academy of Comprehensive Esthetics (ACE) charity events “A Soldiers Smile.” These events are designed to help our troops who are in need of restorative and cosmetic dental care get the treatments they deserve but would ordinarily be ineligible for. The ACE dental association and select dentists will be providing free dental services to select troops both locally and at other participating locations. Dr. Hale and other ACE dentists decided it was a good time to show their appreciation to our troops and make a difference in their lives.
In addition to the backing of several ACE dentists and the association, decorated Navy veteran and celebrity talk show host Montel Williams has also endorsed the charity. Montel brings years of advocating for the military and his celebrity status to the table and is helping to bring awareness to this great cause. To date Montel has already appeared on national TV and was interviewed discussing the ACE dentists and the A Soldiers Smile event. It is through the collaborative efforts of Montel and the ACE dental association that medical help and awareness of the needs of our troops is coming into fruition.
It can be difficult for our troops to get the dental care they need as there are certain restrictions in place that limit their access to dental care and other health care. In fact, the law has restrictions on providing health care for veterans based on their condition in or out of service and their income level. This means US troops who have spent considerable time in dangerous countries and away from their families won’t have access to dental health care that keeps them in good health. ACE dentists like Dr. Hale are taking proactive measures to ensure that these troops can get the care they need to maintain healthy, positive lives.
Veteran’s Day is this Friday, November 11th. Remember to thank a vet for their service to our great country.
