-- A recently completed A Soldier’s Smile dental case performed by Dr. Carlos Wiesse was discussed by celebrity Montel Williams on the WFAA Dallas program Good Morning Texas Thursday morning. The campaigns continue to create smiles for veterans in need and Williams promotes the cause and the dentists as he did here on Good Morning Texas. The A Soldier’s Smile events have been made possible by the Academy of Comprehensive Esthetics (ACE), a cosmetic dentistry association who teamed with Williams to bring free medical care to veterans all across the country.
The veteran selected for Dr. Wiesse’s case was a single mother who had served in both Iraq and Afghanistan, said Williams. She required extensive dental care to restore her smile including dental crowns, implants and other cosmetic treatments. Dr. Wiesse (http://www.beautifulsmilestx.com/
) and his team are located in Westchester, TX and are known for their full mouth reconstructions as well as complete cosmetic makeovers. Pictures of the case were shown on the morning show and highlight the dramatic need for dental care.
The A Soldier’s Smile events will continue to take place across the nation and participating ACE dentists will be donating their time, expertise and resources to help veterans in need. There are also numerous sponsors involved that make the restorations possible for the troops so that they can remain free. In addition to free dental care for select veterans, the participating ACE dentists are also providing discounted restorative and cosmetic services to active and former military.
