LED Technologies, LLC Partners With a Solider's Wish List

Nov. 1, 2011 - PRLog -- NEW YORK, NY (November 1, 2011) – LED Technologies, LLC is proud to announce its association with A Soldier’s Wish List, a charity that is geared toward fulfilling the wishes of combat heroes serving our country.  LED Technologies donates a portion of each sale towards this wonderful charity.

Julieann Najar, founder of A Soldier’s Wish List, started this project in 2003 when a friend of hers was being sent out on assignment.  She started out sending care packages to him and a few of his friends who didn’t have family members to send anything.  Her project quickly grew to about 40 soldiers, and it has now expanded immensely to over 162,000 soldiers.  Julieann’s charity is different from other charities of a similar nature because she tries to send out personalized packages that contain items that soldiers want and will use.  “We want to be able to send troops a piece of home that they otherwise won’t be able to get anywhere else,” says Julieann.

Julieann listens to what the soldiers are asking for and does her best to provide them with what they need as a thank you for what they do.  To date, she has sent out everything from electronics (such as microwaves and televisions) to games/sports equipment to clothes/blankets.  But Julieann also fulfills wishes that soldiers have for their families.  Examples of this include baby shower road trips and Christmas/birthday presents sent to children on behalf of their father or mother who is away.
