Get Connected Networking Mixer Goes Hollywood for Halloween

Autumn Bailey Entertainment, Film Atlanta, Blank Stage Studio and The Cinema Dolls established “Get Connected” to bring film makers, actors, producers and directors together. Each month’s event brings out Atlanta's entertainment industry.

Oct. 18, 2011 - PRLog -- The efforts of Get Connected Networking Mixers to promote the Atlanta based film industry has been recognized by the Mayor of Atlanta, Kaseem Reed and such industry professionals as Thomas Miles aka Nephew Tommy, Co-Host of the Steve Harvey Morning Show and Co-Star of the film, The Heart Specialist, actors  Charmin Lee, Tommy Ford and Kaira Akita from Tyler Perry’s Why Did I Get Married and A Family That prayers Together, Focus Films and casting director LaTonya Potts, Blueprint 4 Hollywood, Kim McClure, Account Executive, Comcast Spotlight, Marlon Gregory, Music Industry Development, GMC Gospel Music Channel, High School Musical 3’s, Justin Martin and from Tyler Perry’s For Better or Worse, Brad James.

Get Connected brings the party to its next industry mixer at the 1st Annual “Hollywood Halloween Mixer” on October 27, 2011, 6pm – 11 pm at the W Atlanta Downtown in Atlanta, GA.  Anyone interested in pursuing a career in the entertainment industry, or who is established in their career are invited to attend and share knowledge, experiences and contacts and have a great time networking with celebrity guests.  The night will feature a red carpet, lights, paparazzi, fog, music, food and networking.  Horror films will be screened, meet amazing people, vendors, sponsors, Dress is Halloween Style or Hollywood Style or just come as yourself.  Best costume will win a prize and all are invited to participate in "The Vanishing Icon Mystery", a live action who done it.

The event is sponsored by Macon Shorts, Shock & Awe Productions, Sick House Sisters, Tentlogix, Atlanta Film Festival, Obrien Productions, Global Goddess Events & Entertainment, The AMR Agency, Atlanta Prop House, The Atlanta Film Festival, O'Brien Productions, All About Props, Mood and Sistah Bells.  The charity spotlight is Hosea Feed the Hungry & Homeless and will receive partial proceeds from the event and will fund grants for rising filmmakers to produce short films.
