By: Jody Williams Forty pieces of original contemporary botanical art, selected from a field of 198 submissions, all by members of the American Society of Botanical Artists are on display. Artists from thirteen states and 5 countries are represented in the show. This year's exhibition displays familiar plant life along with strange and interesting exotics in a broad range of media. Each artist brings a unique interpretation to their chosen subject. The opening reception on September 21st attracted artists, prominent collectors and enthusiasts to view works by today’s most accomplished botanical artists.
