Tropical fun in the heart of Swansea

Aug. 1, 2011 - PRLog -- School holidays are often the busiest time of the year for Plantasia and a series of events have already been arranged to keep visitors entertained.

If the kids want to find out more about how reptiles, lizards, giant snails and snakes live, what they eat as well as getting up close to them, then come and join us for Animal Antics Scales and Tails on 9, 10 and 11 August.

Step into the fascinating world of the rainforest - Join in the fun and be entertained whilst learning about the tribal people of the rainforest and all the critters who live there such as scorpions, tarantulas, stick insects and more in the Rainforest Roadshow on 25, 26 and 27 August.

There are 4 shows a day for both events and start at 10.30am, 12.00pm, 2.00pm and 3.15pm.  Pre booking is advised for all events due to the popularity.

Come join the fun in the brand new Cheeky Monkey Tea Party on 13 and 14 August from 11am – 1pm.  Bring your cuddly monkey along or come dressed up as an animal.  Plenty of crafty fun and games and food included for the kids.

Holiday trails will also be on at Plantasia throughout the school holidays where children are encouraged to hunt high and low for clues.

Look out for the animal feeding sessions that take place daily.  Times change so please ask reception on arrival for the feeding times.
