PRLog -- Tustin, CA – Artist, writer and actress Kobina Wright’s well publicized “Fractured”
series will be removed from display on Fine Art America later today. The removal of the 10 piece series is scheduled to take place around 10 pm (PST).
Wright made the announcement in June that she would pull more of her work from the site. The “Fractured”
series was completed only last week, but Wright’s desire to create uncluttered space for proper viewing of her work lead to the short run on the site.
The “Fractured”
series is a multilayered 10 piece project Wright had embarked on three months ago. The mission was to create new and thought provoking images out of broken circles and repeated sketches, allowing the project to take on an evolutionary sophistication. The titles include: “Beads and Vines;” “Cactus Orbs;” “Headline News;” “Downtown Fractured Nash;” “Bundle Belonging to a Fracture;” “Fractured Forest;” “Duet of Fractured Trees;” “Wild Fractured Lilies;” “Fractured Flowers;” and “Fractions.”
Wright, a California native, is the creator of the Hodaoa-Anibo language (work inspired by the language can also be seen on Fineartamerica.com)
. She is also the co-creator of nuler style poetry and the author of several books, including
50;
A Crime and a Simplification of Something Sublime;
Growth Spurt and
Say it! Say Gen-o-cide. Wright is also known for playing the role of "Tisha"
in the vampire cult movie “Dark Town.”
