Though there have been no disputes between Wright and Fine Art America, Wright has stated that her evolving artistic direction has outgrown the site. Wright has been a member of Fine Art America since 2007.
The majority of the work has on the site are post-Katrina photographs of New Orleans along with several collages and one painting titled “Ring II.” The decision to pull her work from the site will come on the heels of Wright’s politically and socially charged solo exhibition, STATIC!, scheduled to take place on September 19th, 2015 at 1403 W. 5th Street, Santa Ana, CA 92703 from 1pm to 3:30pm.
