In his essay Pooch, Canine In Charge, of  maxapooch dot com first discusses that despite the common percepton, humans can bend over. He claims a human's aversion to lowering himself or herself to pick up litter is usually a mental condition not a physical condition.

Dr. Pooch includes photographs of actual litter as well as provides for the ability of readers to take a poll that allows them to anonymously participate.

Next in his essay he provides the reader insight as how he a canine perceives the human mind to work.

Lastly, he provides a five step program on how to train humans to fetch litter, and how that process will stimulate them to be aware of bigger picture items.

Pooch claims if his process is followed there will be a decline in the number of slobs and thus a decline in litter. He uses the decline in the number of smokers and the resulting decline in cigarette butts and cigarette packages littering sidewalks as evidence for his thesis.
