New E-Learning Course coming, Loss Prevention for Managers

June 29, 2011 - PRLog -- We are excited about our new E-Learning course going live next week called LP for Managers.  This course will be in addition to LP Detective and both will be presented on our new site www.LossPreventionAcademy.com.  We are putting the final touches on both and if all goes well, launch next week.

Our goal for the LP-Academy is to develop "position based" training courses for Retail Loss Prevention that incorporate the E-Learning format.  E-Learning goes beyond E-Book and includes voice over, interactions and online testing.  The combination of these qualities increases the attention of the trainee and retention of the material.

LP for Managers is the next step from the LP Detective training and is a comprehensive course with modules like shortage path, how to build an ROI, developing a shortage culture within a store, how DCs can impact the shortage number and more.  The course will be roughly 10 hours to complete and can be taken at the trainee's schedule.

By the end of July, our next course, LP for Employees will be added to the Academy.  This will be a 2 hour course on the basics of loss prevention and safety for the hourly employee. This will be a great course for small business owners and larger companies that understand the importance of engaging all their employees in shortage and safety controls.
