Douglas Jimerson and the Civil War Comrades will sing and perform songs of the Civil War period at Arlington Cemetery in Arlington, VA. on Sunday, April 5, 2011 at 11 AM. This remembrance is an annual event of the United Daughters of the Confederacy.
 
June 4, 2011 - PRLog -- On hallowed ground at Arlington Cemetery, Douglas Jimerson and the Civil War Comrades will perform patriotic and popular songs of the Civil War period on Sunday, April 5, 2011 at 11 AM. This music is being provided for the annual commemoration of Civil War soldiers buried at Arlington Cemetery held by the United Daughters of the Confederacy. Among the songs to be performed will be "The Star-Spangled Banner," "Maryland, My Maryland," and "How Firm A Foundation," Robert E. Lee's favorite hymn. 2011 marks the 150th anniversary, the sesquicentennial, of the beginning of the Civil War.
