Gian has worked in new homes and general brokerage sales, sales training, and sales management in the Triangle, the North Carolina Outer Banks, and Southeastern Virginia. In his 20th year in real estate, he has been responsible for selling more than $75,000,000 of residential property.

Gian is a member of the Home Builders Association (HBA) of Durham, Orange, and Chatham Counties and the HBA of Raleigh-Wake County, where he serves as Vice-Chair of the Education Committee. He holds the distinction of being a member of the Institute of Residential Marketing Board of Governors. Gian is also a member of the North Carolina HBA and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). Additionally, he is a member of the Triangle Sales & Marketing Council (TSMC), an organization of the HBAs of Raleigh-Wake and Durham, Orange and Chatham Counties, where he serves on the Executive Committee as Education Chair. Finally, Gian is a member of the Raleigh Regional Association of Realtors®, the NC Association of Realtors® and the National Association of Realtors®.

Gian holds the professional designations of MIRM (Masters In Residential Marketing), MCSP (Master Certified New Homes Sales Professional), and CGP (Certified Green Professional). He is a principal instructor in 11 of 12 IRM (Institute of Residential Marketing) courses and is one of four NAHB Master Instructors nationwide. Gian has authored or co-authored five text books for IRM classes.
