Families, On Your Marks ...

April 29, 2011 - PRLog -- Is your family up for a challenge?  Throw in some family bonding and a little friendly competition and you’ve got the new Monmouth County Park Systems Funathalon. You'd better start "training" now for this all-in-good-fun activity on Saturday, May 7 from 9:00 AM -12:00 PM.

During this Thompson Park event, families will compete in a variety of outdoor adventure challenges including canoeing, archery, athletics, problem solving and more!  Teams are comprised of two to six members with any combination of adults and children (ages 6-14).  These teams will race against the clock and each other as they traverse the park.

All racers will be awarded with a medal and trophies will be given to the top three teams.  There will even be an award for most team spirit, so be prepared to give it up for your team.  FEE: $45 per family.
