Aug. 12, 2011 - PRLog -- The Historic Village at Allaire will be hosting its Annual “Ducky Derby,” Saturday, August 13.  This fun filled family day is at the Mill Pond in the Historical Village where everyone can participate in a variety of races and cheer for their favorite duck (no worries Mom and Dad, they are rubber ducks).

Depending on your kiddos age, they can take part in either the Ducky Splash or the Lucky Ducky ‘fish’ for a duck event, and even Mom and Dad can race a duck!  Everyone is a winner as prizes are awarded to all participants.  And no worries about the bond you form with your duck, the tykes can bring them home. (Duck racing and adoption is $3. Adult ducks are $100. All are tax deductable donations to the Village of Allaire.)

Not in the mood to race a duck? For no charge the kiddos can still have their faces painted, take home animal balloons, and lots of additional “Ducky Derby” fun.

{ Saturday, August 13 | 1 PM }
