April 14, 2011 - PRLog -- A report out today from the Office for National Statistics in the UK evidenced falling UK unemployment.

In the three months to February 2011, unemployment in the UK fell by 17,000 to 2.48 million.  The unemployment rate in the UK currently stands at 7.8%.  

The number of people in employment in the United Kingdom rose in the period by an additional 143,000 people.  The number of working people in the UK now stands at 29.23 million.  The highest number of people ever recorded in work in the UK stands at 29.56 million, registered in the heady pre - recession days of May 2008.
