Sentinel AVE to demonstrate amazing 3D visualization application for security

Traditionally central station monitoring stations relied on "matrix" displays showing camera images on a flat monitor. The users had to know where the camera was physically installed, what it was looking at (field of view), and what cameras were immediately adjacent to the camera. If a user was not familiar with the area, he would not be able to effectively navigate around the observed area.

With Sentinel AVE the user is immersed in a virtual representation of the area observed with live video directly overlaid onto this model. The 3D virtual world makes it very easy for users to know exactly what they are looking at and quickly navigate from camera to camera, as if they are physically on the site. This improves response time, reduces training time, and significantly enhances overall situational awareness.

Sentinel AVE will be demonstrating their software to qualified system integrators, distributors, OEMs, and members of law enforcement in their hospitality suite at the Palazzo hotel, immediately adjacent to the Sands Convention Center where the ISC West event will be held from April 5th to 8th.
