March 17, 2011 - PRLog -- The Zombies have taken Manhattan in a new virtual reality podcast from the WZMB Zombie Radio Show. The weekly podcast depicts the trials of Jimmy Rudolph, NYC radio DJ, broadcasting news, traffic and music in a world where zombies walk the streets.

"In post-Zombie Apocalypse New York City, the traffic is worse than ever, crime is worse than ever, and city services hang by a slender thread. But one man is bringing the city what it needs the most-- jazz!"

In the wake of such zombie-themed entertainment as "Shaun of the Dead", "Zombieland", and the "Zombie Apocalypse" game, "WZMB Zombie Radio Show" adds a unique dimension to zombie lore in this ongoing comedy podcast.

The Zombie Radio Show was created by Craig Sabin, co-founder of 5 Minute Horror (, and written by Sabin and industry legend James Mathers, who also provides the voice for jazz DJ Jimmy Rudolph.

Says Sabin, "The radio show format allows us to produce inexpensively, which gives us the opportunity to create more episodes and really explore the many levels of this sick world. We can go as deep as we want."

"I love the guy," Mathers says of Jimmy Rudolph. "He's an optimist in hell. It's difficult to find the lighter side of brain-eating zombies roaming the streets, but Jimmy sure tries. And he loves jazz, so he's got that going for him."
