PV Bicycle Center has been hosting a time trial on a steep switchback in Palos Verdes Peniinsula. Come down for the race and the view Sunday March 6.

Rider working up a head of steam on time trial The elevation gain of 533 feet doesn't seem so daunting when taken at a moderate pace but at time trial effort it's a challenge. The overall record of 6:19 is held by pro cyclist Sid Tamberlay; the amateur record is 6:55. We'll award prizes in four categories: mens, womens, mens 50+ and womens 50+. The prize is a $75 gift certificate from PV Bicycle Center. The women will kick off at 9:30, the men at 10:00. Meet and sign in at the lookout point by the top of the climb along Trump Golf Course. Both races take place on Sunday March 6. Are you up to the challenge? Come and enjoy the sport, the folks, and the view. Utilizing the latest video and computer programs from Specialized BG fit, Steve has become well known as an expert at the craft of properly fitting rider to bike to increase speed, power, stamina, and reduce potential injuries.
