ICL Reached Agreement with China’s Importers

Feb. 23, 2011 - PRLog -- Israel Chemical Group (ICL) has reached a purchase agreement with Chinese potash fertilizer importers recently. The agreement indicates that ICL will export 500, 000 tonnes Potash fertilizer (PF) to China, which will be transported to China in the first half year of 2011. The selling price almost equal the contract price of other PF suppliers, however, compared with the selling price in 2010, it increases by USD50/t.

It is reported that the global PF market is hopeful to recover to conditions like in the peak period, even exceeding the level in 2007. PF suppliers including ICL are possible to raise the price in the second half of 2011.
