Fulham host Tottenham in repeat of last seasons FA Cup Quater Final

Jan. 28, 2011 - PRLog -- Tottenham face a difficult trip to Craven Cottage in a fixture that sees a repeat of last years FA Cup Quarter Final. That tie finished 0-0 before Spurs went on to win 2-1 in the replay. Mark Hughes will be pleased with Fulham's recent form and they were unfortunate to lose 1-0 in their trip to White Hart Lane on New Years Day. In contrast, Spurs have struggled lately and it took a late Aaron Lennon goal to get a point at Newcastle. The North London side have only scored a total of 6 goals in their last 5 games, 3 of which came against Charlton.

The bookmakers have priced Spurs as favourites at 11/8 and I think that's too short considering their away form this season which reads 4-5-6 – thats only a 26% win rate. Fulham’s have only lost 3 times at home this season and although they've had several draws, they're obviously difficult to break down.

With midweek games next week both managers may be tempted into using some of the more fringe squad players so I would take that into consideration when choosing your bet. That aside I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw a similar result to last years quater-final.
