-- In this day & age it is unheard of for a student not to go to college. Most parents cite laziness if their children don't feel college is the best option for them. Students are finding it easier & easier to get into college due to lower grade requirements & higher tuition rates.
Schools are now expecting students to pay an arm & a leg to go to their location because they let them in. Parents are finding it difficult to find the funds to pay for their children to become educated, so they become frustrated.
The problem is parents & their children aren't working together to solve the problem. I recently launched a website at http://studentloandebtsolution.com/
where I shall delve into all the secrets of student loans & many ways to avoid having to pay off student loans the rest of your life.
The first article I've written at http://studentloandebtsolution.com/scholarship-help/colle...
primarily discusses scholarships available to students. Scholarships can be found any where. It is best to first start off asking the high school guidance counselor, asking around town & seeing if your job may contribute something. Then ask the college you want to attend what they have to offer, usually college freshmen have a lot more available to them.
Then hit to the web. A great college scholarship search site is FastWeb! Simply type in your search parameters & you are on your way.
Parents should also explore setting up a UPromise account. Get money back you can put towards your children's loans from shopping you'd do otherwise, any way.
