Five year-old Anthony Michael Hobbs named top 20 child actors at Wilhelmina Philadelphia

Jan. 6, 2011 - PRLog -- Five year-old actor/model Anthony Michael Hobbs, who appeared this year on ABC’s WMAR TV’s Good Morning Maryland Show after signing an acting/modeling contract with Wilhelmina Philadelphia, was recently named one of the top 20 child actors at the agency. In addition, Hobbs joins yet his third firm (Dazzling Kids in Maryland is the second), Kids International Talent Agency - as an actor/model.

Anthony Michael will let you know quickly that he only wants to be an actor, but will model only if the agencies’ request it. The Baltimore native has his eyes set on the big screen as a comedic actor. In just a year since he began his quest, Anthony Michael has starred in a commercial for the U.S. National Parks Service and for Sojourner-Douglass College in Baltimore. He has modeled for USDA’s Healthy Kids 2011 campaign and for Rose Photography’s Coffee Table Book. Hobbs has also co-starred in an American University short-film titled A Short Break and in the upcoming film Waiting for Godot.

Anthony Michael’s outgoing personality and big smile are part of his unique characteristics. At five he is already able to read his own scripts and remember them after a first read.

He was only four years-old when he asked his mother if he could act. When not taking acting lessons, his mother – a former model/actress – has him busy doing what he loves - playing football, basketball and soccer, as well as taking his guitar lessons. He also loves to sing and is often complemented on his hazel eyes.
