Community Workforce Solutions Announces 2011 Board of Directors

Dec. 1, 2010 - PRLog -- Raleigh, N.C. – Community Workforce Solutions, Inc., (CWS) a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities or other barriers to employment, announced today the members of the 2011 Board of Directors. Penny McGhee will serve as chair, Carolyn Rhinebarger, vice chair, Mark Twisdale, treasurer and Nancy Nutt, secretary.

Returning board members include Betsy Allen, Doug Brocker, Jim Howard, Jimmy King, Michael Lord, Susan Stevens, Pat Gilliard and Peggie Simpson. Ashley Perkinson has joined the Board as a new member.

“Our Board of Directors brings a great deal of diverse experience to our non-profit organization.  We are grateful for their dedication and service to the participants we support and, with their guidance, look forward to the future,” said President and Executive Director Roger McGee.  

CWS is entering a new phase of growth with expanded services.  The organization has founded Gateway Clubhouse, a nonresidential day program for individuals with traumatic brain injury, which is due to open later this fall. CWS is also pursuing ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 13485 Quality Management Systems certifications for production and assembly services to support the medical device industry.
