Get Bare in Martha's Closet

Martha is making room in her closet for the private label
body, bath and fragrance line - BARE®.

To celebrate the launch of the "BARE" line, including the new “Bare-ly Legal” perfume,  
Martha's Closet is introducing the BARE-fly® Travel Satchel collection: BARE-fly, and for the shorter stay, Le Petit BARE-fly®.  Martha virtually created BARE® in her garden studio apartment on East 81st Street in New York.

"It all started in the spring of 2009 when I took a pair of shoes to a consignment shop across the street.  I looked around and saw racks of clothing, shoes and accessories and I laughed. It looked like my home!  Rather than hauling all of my possessions across the street, I thought it would be easier to sell everything from my home.  Soon, jewelry and beauty designers were knocking on my door, including such names as The Beaded Tortoise, Cheeky Monkey Jewelry by Simon Cardwell, Bogart’s Bijoux, from “Haifa to Acre” Judy’s Joys Wearable Art, fine artists like Portraits and Landscapes by Janice Addams and Portraits by Tortoise Photography have joined our team.  

In an effort to improve marketing, I helped with re-branding and in doing so, came up with the name "BARE®" and thus the concept of the all natural retro-apothecary-esque Bare Body Collection™ - a collection of "Necessary Luxuries for Practical Purposes". Bare seemed to go hand in hand with Martha's Closet which provides a selective venue for those who are seeking  a particular kind of upscale and innovative design - presented with what I call "Upper East Side Style®".

Choy, who is a compliance director at an investment bank, an industry in which she has worked for more than 20 years, has launched Barebodycollection.com, which features her own bath, body and fragrance line, dubbed Bare.
