New Head for Ryden in Inverness

Nov. 8, 2010 - PRLog -- Independent property consultant Ryden has promoted associate Charlie Lawrence to head up its Inverness office and build the firm’s business in the Highlands.

Charlie, originally from the North of Scotland, has worked at Ryden for seven years in the firm’s Glasgow office where he specialised in sales, lettings and acquisitions of commercial property and land.  He also provided development and valuation advice to a number of private and public sector clients.  As well as Ryden, Charlie has worked for CBRE and GVA Grimley during his property career.

Along with para-surveyor Linda Cameron who has been with Ryden for five years, Charlie will continue to work closely with his existing clients. He brings well established contacts within Ryden’s network of offices, substantial commercial property experience and commercial acumen that he will use to the benefit of new and existing clients.

With 10 years’ experience in commercial property, Charlie has been involved with many high profile projects such as the development and letting of new industrial property at Eurocentral in Lanarkshire, the provision of acquisition, valuation and development advice to Clyde Gateway URC and the sale of a 40-acre site at Clydesmill in Cambuslang to Strathclyde Fire and Rescue.

Commenting on his new appointment, Charlie said:  “I’m excited about this new challenge.  We have a well-established office and a loyal client base and I am looking forward to working with new and existing clients to grow our business within the Highlands.  Whilst the economic climate remains challenging, I firmly believe there are commercial property opportunities to pursue and I will be doing my utmost to make sure our clients benefit. “

Charlie joined Ryden in 2003.  He was promoted to senior surveyor in 2005 and to associate in 2007.   He is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and an APC assessor.
