Core and Microsoft’s joint ‘Collaboration, Create & Search’ event hailed “a huge success”.

Aug. 20, 2010 - PRLog -- As an established Microsoft partner specialising in SharePoint, Core were delighted to host a joint round-table event with Microsoft at their London offices.

The main function of the event was to illustrate to how SharePoint 2010 and Office 2010 could help IT Professionals and Business Decision makers improve productivity and efficiency within their organisations.

Core’s Operations and Technical Director Eamon McGann was there to present and offer expert advice on a variety of SharePoint-related topics including; using SharePoint for Internet, Intranets and Extranets, Building no-code applications and how to get SharePoint adopted and used within an organisation.

When asked about the benefits of the latest version, Eamon said, “Having worked with every version of SharePoint since its first release in 2001, we are keen to illustrate how the improved functionality in the 2010 version can empower IT professionals to create and deliver solutions that greatly benefit their organisation and, in some cases, this can be achieved using a ‘no-code solution’ approach. For Core, as a SharePoint consultancy, there is now much greater potential for us to deliver more cost-effective, bespoke solutions.”

John Westworth from Microsoft also presented and was quick to highlight the value of Core’s involvement, saying, “The Collaboration event that we ran in conjunction Core was the best joint Microsoft/Partner event I’ve ever presented at. A huge success!”

Most importantly, the feedback from the attendees was overwhelmingly positive with one delegate stating that it was “probably the best event I’ve attended on SharePoint 2010. Very relevant and interesting with plenty of ideas to follow up on.”

With the overall success of the day clearly evident, Core look forward to hosting future joint events with Microsoft.
