Samtec To Be Established In Panama Pacifico

Aug. 9, 2010 - PRLog -- Samtec, Inc. is a worldwide manufacturer of a broad line of electronic interconnects such as high speed (signal integrity), micro pitch, and rugged/power products, has decided to establish in Panama Pacifico, as part of its global strategy and to strengthen its Latin American presence.
Founded in 1976 and with sales that exceeded 409 million dollars in 2008, Samtec has plans to hire over 150 Panamanian employees by the end of 2011  that will be part of the production line of these connectors that are essential part of computers, cellular phones and many other electronic equipment, so popular in our modern life.
Samtec´s facilities will be at one of the new warehouses located at the Pan America Corporate Center South, located right by the new Boulevard of the Americas, which will become on the main connection artery of this Special Economic Area with the Pan American highway and the Centenary Bridge, as has been announced by the government of the Republic of Panama.
Panama Pacifico, located on the banks of the Panama Canal and just minutes away of the main ports on the Pacific Ocean and the Panama-Colon railroad is home to very important multinational companies and businesses as well as educational institutions and the most exclusive residential, sports and commercial areas of the region.
