BioPoint announce release of BioImage IQ version 3.3

Aug. 8, 2010 - PRLog -- Cambridge UK, Version 3.3.0 of the highly popular Bio Image Intelligent Quantifier was announced today. The latest software includes some important new features that will find applications in stem cell proteomics, gel electrophoresis, blotting and 2-D electrophoresis.

The software is aimed at those laboratories and scientists that need a cost effective solution to imaging including Gel Documentation and analysis including standards calibration, image processing and data analysis. Images and data can be printed quickly and easily for keeping permanent records. Data can also be output in tables and spreadsheets. The software now includes a simple to use configuration and procedure editor which now includes object analysis, classification and location prior to reporting. It also includes XML data transfers for those wishing to export data to laboratory notebooks and network resources.

The company is likely to announce the availability of  an updated version of their AQ advanced quantifier shortly. This software porvides the same functions as IQ but includes powerful inter sample comparison data basing for larger scale proteomics and genomics.

An announcement is expected to announce an updated 21.CFR 11 version later in the year for those customers in the pharmaceutical industry that require advanced audit trali and user tracking software.
