Dogs & Their Owners Prepare For A Night Of Dinner, Dancing & Doggie Fashion At The Strathallan Hotel

Aug. 5, 2010 - PRLog -- Tickets are now on sale for Rochester’s premier, pet-friendly social event, Rochester Fur Ball, the annual black-tie gala benefiting Verona Street Animal Society, Animal Service League, and Monroe County Guiding Eyes for the Blind.

The ‘Fur Ball’ will be held August 28 at the Strathallan Hoel. Tickets for an un-‘fur’-gettable evening of fun, doggie fashion and pampering, dinner and dancing are $100 per person, $35 per pet , or $900 for a table sponsorship (includes pet tickets) and may be purchased on the Rochester Fur Ball Website, www.rochesterfurball.com. Ticket sales end on August 21, 2010.

This event will feature a red carpet entrance featuring the “pup-arazzi”, on-site dog spa, animal communicator, raffles and a doggie fashion show. Unique silent auction items such as a signed Rolling Stones guitar, signed Twilight cast photo, and a 6-day trip to Costa Rica are sure to create a flurry of bidding wars.

“Rochester Fur Ball is bound to be one of the best social highlights of the year,” said Gabriella Martinez, Event Coordinator, “but more importantly, this is our way of supporting three great animal charities that do so much for both animals and their human counterparts.”
