July 20, 2010 - PRLog -- Smartec Company product line was supplemented by the new STC-1000 surveillance camera designed for working in low light conditions. STC-1000 delivers crisp black/white image with 570 TV Lines at up to 0.08 lux of minimum illumination, and also features Automatic Gain Control, external synchronization, gamma correction and backlight compensation. New b/w camera is equipped with a connector for auto iris controlled by video or DC-signal and can functionate using 24/220 V AC or 12 V DC power supply.

Due to 1/3” SONY SuperHAD CCD with high resolution and interlaced scan, this security camera generates high quality b/w image with 570 TVL resolution at up to 0.08 lux of minimum illumination. Such b/w camera allows customer to utilize lenses of all types: manual or AI, fixed focal length, varifocal lenses or zoom lens.  Backlight compensation function enables CCTV camera to form clear b/w video signal, even if the security object is located on the strong light.

In distinction from some other security cameras Smartec b/w camera "is not afraid" both bright light source and dimmed headlight.  If security system consists of multiple security ccameras with video data displayed on one monitor, it should be synchronized with all the CCTV cameras on a single core camera to prevent picture scrolling when switching channels. Both STC-1000/0 and STC-1000/2 utilize method of synchronization based on power supply frequency (Line Lock) that enables customer to provide automatic synchronization of b/w cameras connected to one phase. If the devices are connected to versatile power sources, phase correction can be accomplished through the screw adjustment on the rear panel of STC-1000.

Unlike some analogues new camera is equipped with electronic iris, allowing installer to use inexpensive lens with manual iris rather than AI. Lenses with manual iris can be mounted on b/w cameras, operating outdoors where the dynamic range of the electronic shutter is enough to record changes in street lightning conditions and there is no need to check b/w pictures depth of field.

New surveillance b/w cameras are offered from stock by company partners. For more info about STС-1000 and other company equipment, please, send your request to info@smartec-security.eu or contact your Smartec dealers directly.
