July 7, 2010 - PRLog -- It was projected by the United States Senate that as many as 200,000 great jobs would be created from 2011 to 2020. The exciting news may have been full of hot air, claim some analysts who look at the foundation of the claim with skepticism.

TED Green Room discusses the action could be more hype than hope: stating that there is growing evidence that support of green industries could cost more jobs than they create.

Eyes look to current progress, which at the present time is meager. Organizations are happy to report any job growth at all in the sector, but press releases show only small numbers of new hires. So far the most prominent recent news boasts 50 new jobs in an Arizona firm.

The data and statistics at http://www.tedgreenroom.com/categoryentry.aspx?id=4835&listtaxid=97&menutaxid=97 further argue that the perception that green jobs will be "American" and not able to be outsourced could also be wrong.

Citizens can only hope that the amount of green jobs is accurate enough to provide a lesser unemployment rate for the future.
