Game Design No Child's Play to High School Students

High school students are spending the summer learning game programming, 3D modeling and professional techniques for designing and producing video games during the Harrisburg University of Science and Technology High School Gaming Academy.
 
July 6, 2010 - PRLog -- High school students are spending the summer learning  game programming, 3D modeling and professional techniques for designing and producing video games during the Harrisburg University of Science and Technology High School Gaming Academy.

Led by Charles Palmer, Executive Director of the Center for Advanced Entertainment and Learning Technologies, the Academy offers two three-week intensive sessions. Class size is limited to 12 for each session. Each session is an immersive educational journey into the dynamic world of video game development, including 3D modeling, game programming, audio production and level design.

There are still a few slots available for the second session, which runs July 12 - July 30. The three-week session is $900. Scholarships are available.
