Summer Robotics Camp Currently Enrolling

June 7, 2010 - PRLog -- Surprise, Arizona—Imagine Prep at Surprise Robotics Camp is currently enrolling participants.  During this 10 day camp students will design and program a Lego Mindstorm Robot to navigate an obstacle course and move an object from one place to another.  

“During Imagine Prep’s Robotics Camp kids will have an opportunity to work with some exciting technology,” explained Dan Schroeder Imagine Prep teacher. “On the last day of the camp, we will invite family and friends to meet the robots the students have created and watch as each robot operated by its creator navigates our obstacle course.”

Imagine Prep at Surprise’s Robotics Camp runs from July 5-July 16 (Monday-Friday) from 8 to 10 am.  The cost for participating in the camp is $150 per participant and the camp is open to all area students entering grades 7-12.  In other words, participants do not have to be enrolled at Imagine Prep to participate.  For more information about the camp or to enroll please contact Imagine Prep at Surprise at 623.344.1770 by July 2.
