Imagine Prep at Surprise Offers Numerous Activities to Keep Students Engaged this Summer

June 5, 2010 - PRLog -- Surprise, Arizona—Imagine Prep at Surprise will be offering a variety of summer programs, many of which are open to all area kids in grades 7-12.
“At Imagine Prep we believe it is our responsibility to provide opportunities for students during the summer months,” explained John Buzzard, Principal of Imagine Prep at Surprise. “We also realize that many of our students have friends or even siblings who attend other schools that is why we have opened up most of summer activities to all area students.”
Imagine Prep’s summer activities include summer school, summer camp programs, and weekly social activities.  Enrollment for summer school has closed. However, many of Imagine Prep’s summer camps including KPRP Boot Camp where students learn how to produce and DJ a show on Imagine Prep’s Internet based radio station, Robotics Camp where students will design and program a Lego Mindstorm Robot to navigate an obstacle course and move an object from one place to another, Advanced Art Camp which is offered to students and adults, and numerous sports camps still have openings.
Imagine Prep has also organized a full schedule of social activities open to all area students.  Admission is free to all of these events and concession will be available for purchase.  Events for the month of June include:
•   June 8th, Open Gym, 6-8 pm
•   June 10th, Movie Night “Avatar”, 7-10 pm
•   June 15th, Open Smart Labs (try the green screen and television equipment, play video games on big screen, or play computer game) 6-9 pm
•   June 17th, Movie Night “Twilight”, 7-9:15 pm
•   June 22nd, Open Gym, 6-8 pm.
