Free Financial Coaching Workshop Offered to the Community

SOUTHFIELD, Michigan (April 1, 2010)  Although It has been announced that the recession in the United States is over, many Americans aren't experiencing that in their households. Michigan has been one of the hardest hit States in the economic crisis and with this in mind, many entrepreneurs, community activists and the like, are taking the reins to help Michigan families.

Dorethia Conner, Financial Coach, and Michael Kastler, Financial Consultant, will present ‘Mastering Your Money’, the next installment from the Write Your Vision, Build Your Dream Team series.  The series, sponsored by Comerica Bank, is the vision of Jillian Blackwell of Jillian Blackwell Agency and DeShawn Johnson, President of Black e-Commerce.com. It is designed to empower participants to do whatever it takes to get back on track in areas where they have a weakness.

This free personal finance workshop will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2010 from 9:00a.m. – 12:00p.m. at Lawrence Technological University (Engineering Building), 21000 West Ten Mile Road, Southfield, MI 48075.  

During this workshop, individuals will gain the motivation, knowledge & discipline to:

• Get a "GRASP” On Budgeting & Managing Cash!
• Successfully Handle Financial Emergencies
• Get Out of Debt and more

'Many people are looking for practical answers to their financial problems. They are willing to do whatever it takes to learn how to manage their money, but aren't sure how to do it themselves, we are going to show them how this Saturday,' says Conner. 'It's 2010, we are serious about helping people be successful in every area of their lives - especially when it comes to their money!'
 
Registrants will receive the opportunity for complimentary coaching/consultation by attending the ‘Ask the Expert’ session, featuring members of the Write your Vision – Build your Dream Team, beginning at 8:00a.m. – 9:00a.m.  Pressing questions regarding topics such as career transition, starting and marketing a business, relationships, and discovering your purpose will be addressed.

This workshop is free and open to the general public, however registration is required as seating is limited.
