'Super Chocolate' Choco-Vit Is Launched In The UK

March 24, 2010 - PRLog -- A British company has combined chocolate with acai berry to produce a ‘superfood’ packed with antioxidants, vitamins and essential  minerals that can be used as an aid to healthy eating, weight loss and even mood enhancement.

Choco-Vit, an entirely new concept in healthy chocolate, is the brainchild of Gary Bailey, founder of the Health Rack health-food chain, who came up with the idea when researching new ways of taking vitamins and supplements.

A box of Choco-Vit contains 30 squares of cocoa-enriched dark chocolate each of which contains 500 mg of acai berry, a superfruit from Brazil containing 19 different amino acids, vitamins as well as potassium, calcium, copper, magnesium and zinc.

Even the chocolate in the new product provides health benefits. The main ingredient, Cocoa, contains flavonoids, naturally occurring compounds which are also found in red wine, tea, fruits and vegetables and which are thought to act as antioxidants which help to eradicate potentially damaging free radicals.
