In Motion For A Million Dollars Towards Langtry, Texas

March 15, 2010 - PRLog -- LANGTRY, Texas – Two athletes are attempting to raise one million dollars for Huntington's Disease, Leukemia and Lymphoma, by rollerblading across the USA in a project called "In Motion For A  Million".  Having bladed across more than half of America, the team is hoping to arrive in Langtry, Texas, Tuesday, March 16.

Phil Repaci, the In Motion For A Million Tour Manager, talks about the impact this journey is having on Americans. "The support we are getting is extremely encouraging.  In February, when we started the journey in Florida, our Facebook page had less than 700 fans; today, we have over 1,700 fans! The fans are not only supportive, but moved..." Repaci explains, "A couple days ago, one of our fans told us that every time she sees one of our posts, she cries, because she knows why we are doing what we are doing."

The team will pass through Comstock as they journey towards Langtry on Tuesday.  On Wednesday, the team will continue West towards Dryden, Sanderson, Marathon and Alpine.

The team is currently inviting willing volunteers to get together and host mini-fundraisers for In Motion For A Million.  Whether the fundraiser is a group of family and friends at someone's house or a community gathering, the team is looking to the people to help them achieve their one million dollar fundraising goal. Donations raised can be submitted directly to the www.inmotionforamillion.org site.  In addition, the team is inviting media members to join in on the rollerblading; media may skate along for as long as they would like.
