“My new design shows two hearts, ‘free and together’ at the same time,” says Huynh, who is known for his esoteric take on fine jewelry. “I wanted to create a special heart, a heart that is a symbol of love as well as each lover’s individuality. I believe I have achieved this with my newest collection.”
The Two of One Heart design features two interlocking hearts that appear as one. The patented design is currently available in 14k yellow and white gold with and without diamond accents. The collection includes pendants, earrings and rings with suggested retails ranging from $375 to $2,495.
Huynh says he was inspired to design the Two of One Heart collection after realizing that individuals who are mutually respectful of the healthy spaces between them frequently enjoy the most enduring relationships. “One person can never own another,” says Huynh. “Two of One Heart is my way of celebrating each lover’s individuality.”
A painter, poet and humanitarian, Huynh founded Galatea in 1994. He learned the jewelry trade by apprenticing for his father, one of Viet Nam’s most respected jewelers.
