Help for Divorced Fathers

Feb. 15, 2010 - PRLog -- Children need both their parents for best emotional development.  With divorced mothers gaining more custody of their kids, many children, especially boys, are left without a male role model.  Family courts, in an attempt to provide the safest and most stable environment for children of divorced parents, often require fathers to demonstrate that they have good parenting skills.

Alas, this is not an easy task, as there are not many programs out there where parents can learn valuable parenting skills and get a certificate to show for their trouble.

Luckily, this may change for those parents who participate in a parenting workshop delivered by Ronit Baras, a parenting expert from Be Happy in LIFE in Brisbane.  Named "Happy Parents Raise Happy Kids", the workshop introduces positive thinking, communication styles, love languages, beliefs and rules to its participants.

In the past, this parenting workshop has been delivered at schools and for government agencies and was not available to the public.

"Economic crisis, information overload, divorce and rising stress levels make parenting today more challenging than ever", says Mrs Baras, "The need for a good parenting program is extremely high.  Since we started running parenting programs, we have had endless requests from individuals to join the workshop.  We are very happy to finally offer this workshop to the public".

Ronit Baras is an experienced motivational speaker who publishes a popular blog, called "Family Matters", with over 500 articles on family relationships, parenting and education.  She has also published books with inspiring stories for adults and teenagers.

The full day workshop will be on Sunday, 14 March 2010, at Southern Cross Sports Club on Klumpp Road, Upper Mt Gravatt and promises to make another group of parents happy for the sake of their kids.
