FRIDA FARRELL - Breakout Female Star Winner…!

Dec. 31, 2009 - PRLog -- Yes, Frida Farrell. The girl who grew up in Malmo, a small town on the coast south of Sweden is now an Award Winner.  Her performance in the feature “Contract Killers” left an audience wanting more Frida at the Action in Films Festival. Frida was awarded the “Breakout Female Star’ and viewers and critics would agree, it was well deserved. The film “Contract Killers”, which also took home the Best Action Sequence award and was the winner of the Best Film Feature Award at both Orlando Film Festival and BBFF Philadelphia Festival has opened many opportunities for the once model, now award winning Leading Actress Frida Farrell.

Frida is the oldest out of three siblings and was discovered by a French modeling agency at the age of 13. Then, just three years later at the age of 16, Frida packed her bags and began modeling in Milan, Paris, and New York City where she later called home.

Frida was at the top of her modeling career by the age of 22. But then, Frida was accepted into the Central School of Speech and Drama, which happens to be one of London's Top 5 Drama schools and realized that a new passion had blossomed - Acting!

Once Frida was booked on her first feature film, ‘Tanlines’ as the Lead, the roller coaster ride started and has not stopped since. She landed three more features while in London, and upon her return to the US, she landed in Hollywood where she has continued her acting career. Frida has Guest-Starred in the TV show “Bones” and has completed six (6) feature films, with three more films already lined up for 2010.
