The Luxury Motor Yacht 'Dragon' Is Now Available For Charter In The Bahamas

Oct. 21, 2009 - PRLog -- Fraser Yachts are pleased to announce that M/Y Dragon will be available for charter during the coming winter.  She will be based in the Bahamas and will be offered at a winter high-rate of $135,000/week plus all extras and a winter low-rate of $125,000/week plus all extras.

Launched in 2007, Dragon is the second launch of Palmer Johnson's 'Sports Yacht' series and its design has been perfectly executed in order to combine comfort, performance and style.  

At a length of 41.5m (136' 1"), Dragon has the capacity to accommodate 8 overnight guests in unrivalled style.  She is powered by two 3,650 horse-power engines giving her a maximum speed of 34 knots and cruising speed of 25 knots.

Conceived by the Italian designers Nuvolari & Lenard, Dragon is the epitome of modern style and engineering. Her exterior is predominantly defined by the shimmering aluminium of her cladding, while the principal parts of her deck are defined by fixed seating and sun-beds rendered in a stunning scarlet.

The exterior stands out for its spaciousness and comprises three principal areas: the top-deck, the fore-deck and the lower-deck.  Perhaps the most spectacular of these is the fore-deck which comprises a Jacuzzi, surrounded by sun pads.  

The top-deck is furnished with deeply padded sun-tan beds and lounge chairs and is served by a bar which includes a refrigerator, an ice-making machine and a grill, while the lower-deck provides the largest external space, suitable for full family gatherings around a table that can seat up to 10 guests.

The largest interior space is the salon, a spacious room which includes the main seating and dining areas and is decorated using precise geometric forms that are evocative of the Art Deco style.  The colouring of the interior is restricted to a palette of scarlet, red and white and owes much to the simplicity of De Stijl, and in particular, the paintings of Piet Mondriaan.

The lower deck houses the sleeping quarters, and comprises the vast 45 square meters master bedroom with separate lounge and a luxuriously appointed bathroom with steam bath; two VIP staterooms and a twin room that can be converted into a double. All guest cabins come complete with an en-suite bathroom and a state-of-the-art entertainment system.  

For those who prefer to spend their vacations relaxing, Dragon provides the perfect environment, featuring broadband Internet and satellite TV as well as a central entertainment system which provides an on-demand A/V library to all guest areas.
Dragon is also the perfect choice for the most adventurous guests, fully equipped for providing thrills with a full-range of luxury 'toys' including a 3 person waverunner, kayaks, towables and snorkelling gear.
