At present, Voronezh State Medical Academy is known as one of the country’s leading research and teaching institutions
with a total student enrolment of over 4000. The superiority of its 9 Faculties and 76 Departments are reflected in the rating system,
where the Academy was placed among the Top Ten Medical Schools in Russia. Within its 76 Departments, 800
full-time faculty staff engage in educational, research & development work. Among them: 117 are Professors in Medical specialties
and 540 hold Ph.D. Degrees.
