Oneironauticus by Peter A. Luber is a powerful and entertaining read.

This work, with its magical realism cues and Robert Ludlum rush, will leave a mark on modern fiction that may one day unleash a much needed new genre upon the literary world: one that is not only and creatively unique, but FUN.

July 11, 2009 - PRLog -- “Oneironauticus” is an adventure story tracking transcendental events in the life of Alex Creaux, a depressed widower who is drawn into an adventure that straddles his dreams and waking life. Alex is a Westchester County nobody who earns a meager living writing assembly instructions for the Beaver Toy Company until his neighbor and best friend Rudy’s house blows up.  That explosion, occurring in the first sentence of Luber’s fast-paced book, would change everything for Alex, launching him on a wild ride to the heights and depths of reality.   On the way Alex learns to wield power beyond his own imagination, that the most petty of human emotions can threaten the welfare of humanity itself, and that true love cannot be created, or avoided.  While the sweeping context of the novel impresses, unique characters, scenery, dialogue, and questions raised are enough to ensure that even the most jaded reader will eagerly turn the pages of this book.

“Oneironauticus” is a fine choice both for readers interested in encountering the extremes of good, evil, consciousness, mysticism, dreams, and love, and for those who just want a fun read.

“Oneironauticus” is available now through all major book outlets, including www.amazon.com, www.barnesandnoble.com, www.alibris.com and Lulu publishing  at http://www.lulu.com/content/paperback-book/oneironauticus....
